Hillary

Hillary's story
"Quitting smoking is the best thing I did for myself."
Hometown: Methuen
Year quit: 2007
Even though Hillary is only 28 years old, she had been smoking since she was 10.  The years of smoking compromised her health.  She knew she had to do something and decided to use medication to help her quit.  It worked and not just for her.  Her mom quit as well.  Now her younger sister can live in a smoke-free home.  Hillary is convinced that quitting was the best thing that she could have done for herself and is now enjoying yoga and aerobics classes.  She believes that you should do whatever it takes to stay quit like chew gum, find something to do with your hands or walk away from stressful situations.
