CTTS indicates that at least one Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist provides services in the program. A CTTS has successfully completed a rigorous training and evaluation process, participates in continuing education to maintain certification and has more than 240 hours of experience; a CTTS-M has met the same criteria and has more than 2000 hours of experience in tobacco dependence treatment. TTS Core means the person has attended and passed the 4-day TTS training program but has not pursued certification.
