Representative Brian Ashe

"It was one of the best things I did for myself."

Representative Brian Ashe

Hometown: Longmeadow
Year quit: 1991

Brian began smoking in high school as a social thing and it eventually became a habit. He tried quitting many times, but it was not until New Years of 1991 that Brian did finally kick the habit for good. He knew it was bad when he constantly craved a cigarette – he said it felt like a drug addiction.
