Betty had tried to quit many times. When she hit her 40s, she decided she needed to get healthier and started to think about quitting. But struggling to breathe on a hiking trip with her daughter made her decide it was time. She says exercise and staying active kept her motivated. “Have the mindset and be ready and give it a try. It can’t hurt to try.” Betty shared her story about quitting after many tries to help motivate others to try to stop and to Make Smoking History.
