Debby had been thinking about quitting when a free quit-smoking program was offered at work. She used the nicotine patch and completed the program. She says it taught her strategies about how to quit and how to stay quit. The thing that still sticks with her today is “If you have a cigarette, is it going to change what’s stressing you out?
