Mary's story
"The cigarettes aren’t controlling me anymore. "
Hometown: Dracut
Year quit: 2009
Mary had tried everything to quit... and tried a couple of them twice. She decided to try to quit again because of her grandchildren. What helped her quit for good was a local support group. She says “They give you suggestions. They don’t tell you what to do. It’s up to you to do.” Mary shared her story about how she quit to help motivate others to try to stop and to Make Smoking History.
