Because secondhand smoke is such a serious issue, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health has launched an education campaign. The campaign features billboards in English and Spanish, posters, and ads on public transportation, also in English and Spanish.
Radio ads also spread the word about secondhand smoke increasing asthma attacks and ear infections in children.
